Megamoviestore
One platform for two Shopify stores, bol.com and wholesale.
Megamoviestore ran its online store, marketplaces and wholesale on a single outdated Drupal 7 site. We built a back office that manages catalog, inventory and prices, and split the online store into two Shopify stores: movies in one, everything else in the other.

Every product is in exactly one store: movies in one, everything else in the other. Changes go to Shopify every minute through a queue.

Wholesale at a glance
Every wholesale partner is its own store in the back office, with its own connection via FTP or the REST API. You switch the exchange on or off per partner; orders, stock feeds and invoices then run automatically.

How it was
A single Drupal 7 site carried the online store, marketplaces and wholesale all at once, with 31 separate modules and feeds. Inventory lagged behind sales, and outages only came to light when a partner called.
How it is now
One back office is the source for catalog, inventory and prices. Everything flows in one direction to the stores, bol.com and partners, so nothing is ever deducted twice. If something goes wrong, the system reports it itself.
