What is a custom Shopify app?
Software we build for one store, outside the App Store. It talks to Shopify through the same APIs as any app and does exactly what your business needs.
Does a custom app have to be in the App Store?
No. You install it with a link on your own store. It does not go through the App Store review, only through ours.
Can Business Central talk to Shopify?
Yes. For Tinx-IT, customers see their orders, invoices, shipments and returns from Business Central in their own Shopify customer account. The data is not copied.
What is Peppol?
A European network over which accounting packages securely send e-invoices to each other. For Gutsy, customers enter their Peppol details in their Shopify profile.
What does a custom app cost?
That depends on how many systems it touches and who uses it.
What is headless?
The back end and the site are two separate programs. On brandbrand.nl we manage the content in Drupal and Next.js builds the pages, since 2 November 2026.
How long will my PHP version still get updates?
PHP 8.2 until 31 December 2026, 8.3 until the end of 2027, 8.4 until the end of 2028 and 8.5 until the end of 2029.
